This was actually a holiday with my family in the former British Colony. I decided to make a mini project of local life here in Belize as it is a beautiful location with some very dark under-currents. We stayed in a place called Ambergris Cay, a small peninsula that connects with Mexico. It is also located right on the world's second largest coral reef. The sea fishing is amazing!

I had a number of adventures whilst in this place, a few more stories to tell about life from this cut-off place that stills speaks English on a huge and Spanish speaking continent.

The stunning rainforest, the birds and animals, the scenery were all simply breathtaking with many yet to be discovered Mayan structures hidden away in the forests.

James who invited me to meet his family.

I was invited as the only white person to Jame's grandmother's burial. Another story.....

Miss Belize in 2004.

The owner of my local bar.
