The Purim Festival - Jerusalem

Every year at Purim, which is generally held in March, everyone dresses up in costumes, rather like in Venice, to go out and enjoy this magical city. The city of Jerusalem has thousands of years of history and is full of diversity in terms of religion, culture and language, unlike any other city in the world.

These pictures were taken 'on the fly' moving around in the crowds of people and rarely putting the camera to my face to capture the image.
